Together we can change the world for the better.
We plan to improve the world through the decentralized initiatives of BioMedOps by granting easier and more transparent access to funding for biomedical research and engineering projects - and to have fun along the way.
The BioMedOps Foundation project has not yet started and the launch is currently on hold while we work on behind the scenes activities. We will leave the roadmap online to showcase our intentions and hope to revisit the project in the not-so-distant future. Stay tuned.

The Roadmap
Launch of the BMO DAO
The BioMedOps DAO will be responsible for:
- Approving new projects as potentially eligible grant recipients
- Nominating approved projects for a grant round (all eligible projects will eventually go through the rotation)
- Approving project purchases requests
- Moving funds between projects, if necessary
- Determining dates/times and expenditure limits for BioMedOps events
- Determining expenditure limits for BioMedOps marketing and development
Entry into the DAO will be via the acquisition of a BioMedOps Voter NFT. Voter NFT holders are allowed to vote on the DAO initiatives simply by retaining the NFT.

The BioMedOps research token's (BMOR) planned utility is the following:
- Voting on grant rounds
- Entry to in-person events & gatherings
- Entry to educational workshops
- Entry for exclusive AMAs with biomedical researchers & engineers
- Gifting to other BioMedOps Voter NFT holders
- Acquiring physical BioMedOps merchandise
Launch of Grant Rounds
Grant rounds are giving opportunities for BMOR token holders to help support biomedical research initiatives and other related causes. Every round, multiple projects are nominated to be selected for a grant. Each round will have a minimum voting entry fee in BMOR tokens. A token to vote ratio will be set for each round and votes can be acquired at the set ratio by swapping BMOR tokens for votes. Token holders will be given a period of time to vote using their acquired votes. When the voting period is over, the most voted project is granted the tokens from the grant round.
